JustCause, formerly known as Volunteer Legal Services Project, provides free legal help to low-income residents of Monroe County, New York who are facing non-criminal legal problems. JustCause's services are provided by 1,600 pro bono volunteers who donate their time and talent to ensure that low-income people have access to the justice system when faced with serious legal problems.
    
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of low-income residents of Monroe County by ensuring the existence of a readily available panel of skilled volunteer attorneys to resolve serious legal problems.
